Committees

Five committees, many options to volunteer and contribute

  • Conference Committee

    Oversees BMNANZ workshops and conferences, and promotes knowledge and best practice in breastfeeding medicine.

  • Advocacy Committee

    Works towards recognition of breastfeeding medicine as a specialty, including training pathways with RACGP, RACP, RANZCOG and other colleges.

  • Newsletter and Communications Committee

    Produces the quarterly newsletter, promotes workshops and conferences, and keeps event information on the website current. Supported by the BMNANZ admin assistant.

  • Grants and Funding Committee

    Identifies and applies for WHO Code-compliant funding for BMNANZ and its education events.

  • Undergraduate and Registrar Education Committee

    Closes gaps in breastfeeding medicine teaching for medical students and doctors in training, working with universities and specialist colleges.
